This work is inspired by the winter waves on Lake Superior, as the artist's eye follows the long graceful line of breaking water on the rocky shore. Almost abstact in style, this work emits an evocative presence as the wave rolls to just the tipping point. It creates a sense of natural flow, of anticipation, and contrast.
 
The work is available unframed. The buyer may also choose a frame in either natural maple, stained walnut or a champagne moulding in which the artist will order the frame, install it, and deliver it complete to the buyer.
