Inspired by the rambling roses outside of her front door, Julie painted this piece with the intention of romance, nostalgia, and to speak to pull on our hearts to wander and explore the world. The deep background is enriched with burgundy and touches of dark mossy green. While the rosy blooms  are an earthy salmon hue, glazed with raw umber to soften and harmonize the painting.
