Wheel thrown in white stoneware and glazed in Cloud, a soft neutral satin/matte. This large serving bowl is as beautiful as it is useful. It’s designed to have sides that are slightly tapered inwards, and embellished with a small detailed rim. It holds a substantial capacity due to its size and offers a unique and charming character to any table top. Due to it's extra wide diameter, the glaze on this bowl is brushed on rather than dipped. So some glaze texture and irregularity is present, which does not affect the piece other than add visual interest.
